The New Normal Working From Home

Available space is a good point. For the first few months there was not a lot going on and I got away with an armchair in the front room with occasional computer interaction. Now that I’m into something full-tilt, I’ve had to move upstairs into my daughters vacant room because she has a desk and I don’t.

She’s coming home tomorrow :scream:

On a positive note at least your commute from the “office” will be shorter again if you move back to the couch.

This is true although it will also be a little more public which now that we’re into video calling for team meetings, opens the door to other issues.

Our latest guidance is, if your manager believes you can carry out your job effectively from home then you’ll be staying at home, think the last count now was 38,000 staff or thereabouts, so yep staying at home for longer… Result

We were set to go back in one day a week next month but so much for that now!
