I’m tempted by this, I have a defect of my left ear which it would sit in
Not magical. Not cheeky. Just processing power & free. And probably infringing US copyright law:
Eek.
Was gonna hold out til Norway to get my nose pierced but boredom got the better of me.
You have bony ears?
85p for a curry sauce in McDonald’s in Oslo! 85p! They hand them out aplenty here
Also £1.50 to use a public toilet
Most taxis I seen were Tesla, many electric cars around.
Got chatting to a girl from Hammerfest, and her house was further away than mine here in the UK.
Crazy.
Many people I spoke with from Bergen which is still a trek away.
I wanna do Helsinki at some point, likely got Rome/Italy coming up and then Poland at some point.
We’re the outlier - most of Europe charge.
Fun fact: it’s illegal to see b00ze* after 3am in Oslo/Norway.
The normal spelling is banned
Welcome back @Carlo1460, good to see you.
Norway sounds good, might stray over the border from Sweden on our planned road trip to Stockholm next spring.
I made the mistake of a spur-of-the-moment piercing in 1999. I still have it, but take it from me - don’t get a Prince Albert in your lunch break, especially if wearing pale coloured chinos.
Eeee I’d never get down there pierced
Nip and nose, maybe the helix later in the year.
A few people confused me for being Norwegian due to light hair and eyes
No more than a few drops of blood, they said. They lied.
No chance of me being mistaken for a Scandinavian, sadly. Though these days you can’t tell the hair colour, there’s so little of it left.
Well after a period of travel last year I’ve just booked this years.
Expensive is not the word but this year is a special year so booked bucket list holidays for a change.
Santorini in May
British Columbia in August
Now to lie down for the next 5000 days.
Haven’t booked it, but scouting trip to Tasmania coming up (we’re intending to move there).
I wasn’t sure whether this belonged in Mobile Networks or here, but I’ve just used Uber in Spain and they were advertising this;
It’s an eSIM provider offering free worldwide (160 countries) data when roaming (basically just email, messaging, and maps), or unlimited 1€ per day for streaming, social media, and hot spot).
There’s one day free unlimited with the code UBERFIRSTY1R1 (it’s not a referral).
I’m in Europe with free roaming anyway, and only found out about it at the airport on the way home, so, no, it’s not a personal recommendation.
It looks interesting for places like the US or Asia etc.
There doesn’t appear to be to be calls or texts, just data.
Sounds like a concert that I don’t want to go to.
Oh wait a minute. I might go for the pork, but I’m not camping.
Just booked Latvia and Estonia for May bank holiday weekend! Can’t turn down a free day off work
How many days? Dates? Want a passenger that’ll probs sleep it all?
