If it’s not impertinent, do you mean salary or do you mean wages? I’m salaried and I get paid monthly, but my partner gets wages every 4 weeks.

I have the same dilemma as I get paid weekly so whichever pay I choose it starts the month from there

My summary has got confused because I get paid on the last working Friday of the month - last month was the 25th, this month will be the 29th.

I am salaried but get paid every four weeks. I think its the standard across the industry I work in.

When I saw that they updated ā€˜the big list’ to tick off custom pay periods I assumed that it would have included weekly, four weekly pay etc

On the same boat. Ended up going back to my old back and paying myself from them every month.

Rubbish hack but it seems to work so far!

I am in the same boat as you here. I suspect we
work in the same industry. It’s a minor annoyance but would likely also be not difficult to fix.

Yeah, Choo Choo

Getting paid four weekly can make some things like this complicated, i do like the upshot that we end up being paid 13 times a year and there’s that one set of wages a year(usually between Christmas and new year) you get two wage payments between mortgage payments, pretty sweet

Yeah its a pain for direct debits but ā€˜bill free’ month makes it worth it :joy::joy:

The option to select the last working day of the month would be great. EMMA has this feature and its always nice to see an accurate countdown to payday!

Yeah, Emma is cool but I wish it wouldn’t revert to calender months for previous periods.

It’s great that I can change my monthly budget start date based on when my new budget comes in, but the end date is not right for me.
I get paid on the last working day of the month. So the date varies. For example my budget has been transferred in today and i have set my start to today, but the end date shows as 28th July. My next payday won’t be until the 31st July next month. My budget runs from payday to payday you see. It would be great to be able to set your payday to last working day, or at least give the option to change the start and end date manually? Thanks!

Thats been mentioned on this thread…

I’d love to be able to use the spending targets feature but my payday will always be irregular as I am mostly self employed. It’d be great to change the target end date it so that it doesn’t have to be monthly.
So many people are paid weekly or irregularly it would be a great function to have, it’s the reason I got a monzo card in the first place, as soon as it happens I’ll switch over my current account!

Hi @anon50927867 :wave:t3:

Good news! They are looking at adding more flexibility to the pay dates etc within Summary. I don’t beilive there’s an eta on this yet though.

Hope you’re enjoying Monzo otherwise!
