Has starling started to accept returning customers? I wish to open a new account with them - I had one back in 2023

No
Have they started issuing physical cards with their new design?
April for new cards
My new card is on its way ![]()
Will see on arrival, in a few days ![]()
It feels like Chase, the only difference is in theory Starling have the capability.
Next month you need to suddenly lose your card again
Lol ![]()
No thanks. I prefer what I have now ![]()
I mentioned this above but itโll be April before new cards are issued according to their FAQs: Starling Customer Service
Fewer new account signups than anticipated, or someone found some more boxes in a cupboard maybe!
Iโd go with the former ![]()
Well if theyโd accept returning customers etc etc
How many would go back to using Starling as their main bank?
Iโm surprised theyโve not released the block.
Iโm still waiting for Chase to make the necessary changes to allow people back.
Iโm waiting to go back. A very no nonsense bank with everything I needed in one place.
Immediate notifications, Spaces on its own tab, upcoming bacs and direct debits top of the feed, analytics and the option to exclude transfers.
They lacked a decent bill splitting ability but thatโs no major.
Iโve not seen any new sortcodes for them, maybe thatโs part of the problem? Do they have additional sortcodes available thus the limitations of letting old customers back?
know they have both the โoriginalโ code starting in the โ60โ range (which is the one Iโve got from them) but also another block starting in the โ04โ range
Does anyone have an account using their 04 sort code? Are they using it?
Donโt think theyโve ever launched it for 04.
Not seen the 04 sort code (makes sense if theyโve not launched it) - just reported a suggestion to Starling that they should show the total spend per merchant and category like Monzo and Revolut do
Something tells me banks keep sortcodes for internal processes but canโt remember what reasons this could be
either that or it was a dream ![]()
