It would be useful to have the option to set personal spending limits for categories; weekly / monthly etc. This could be quite useful after a few drinks at the pub to receive a notification saying you have reached your ‘entertainment’ spend limit for the specified period.

This sounds like a good idea!
Spending limits for each category would be really useful… Along with configurable warning notifications for when you reach 25% 50% 75% etc of limits
