So I'm going full monzo

We were discussing in another topic how odd it is that we get excited about new banking features that Monzo bring out. Never thought I’d look forward to bank updates, then again I’ve never had them before :laughing:

I’m employed by Capita, I had no issues at all with my salary when I CASS’d over to Monzo early last year :slight_smile:

In case anybody is sat at home worried about this, I sorted my bank account details manually with Capita (after a lot of faff) and I have been paid correctly. Hooray!

One thing is clear though, they hadn’t changed my bank details following any request from BACS. Shambles.

Yup it’s great. Sometimes they’re so quick that I get them before the receipt has finished printing :sunglasses:

Moved over in January from HSBC advance, never looked back! Only took from October to January to convince me that HSBC with 3-5 days contactless and Google pay transactions to show up was painful. The summary page for me is a game changer, my balance is now the remainder of the money I want to spend and not the account balance!

Scheduling payments is just a breeze and I do like the fact you can save a payee and add other bank details to them as well. Looking forward to them bringing the Payee management as both NatWest and HSBC don’t really have it.

Saw someone use a Monzo hot coral card in one of the fast food establishments in Bedford about 5-10mins ago now, was wondering whether he had gone #FullMonzo?

@simonb or @Rat_au_van - Could you do me a favour and move this post to General Chat or one of the other #FullMonzo threads, as it’s not relevant to User Stats. I’d do it myself if I could.
