You should get paid, but it may not be until the next pay cycle in September when it settles down and works (assuming youāre paid via BACS like your colleague is). Until then, the wage/salary/agreed-payment will just turn up instantly without advanced warning.
But if you donāt receive the expected wages in the next day or so, Iād check with your employer.

I have quite a big issue;
I have a Pixel 7, and while I try to record my verification video (and say those numbers), video gets recorded, but thereās no sound! If I unmute and mute and unmute again, you can hear a bit of static noise, but no sound. So obviously I cannot pass the verification.
Does anyone else have a similar problem or knows a solution? I tried everything I could think off, including a factory reset.
Have you tried making a video outside of the monzo app?
Yep. Works perfectly fine. I tried loads of different āsolutionsā, but nothing seem to work. And Google support just says itās Monzo problem, not theirs. Which I donāt really believe.
Itās quite an issue, as I canāt access my bank account because of this now.
Does Monzo have mic permissions?

Random issues like this are usually fixed with the following steps:
If that doesnāt fix it, ensure the Monzo app has Permissions for Camera, Contacts (optional) and Notifications
Might be silly but have you tried using earphones that have a built in mic?

Iām trying to set up an account on my phone. I get half way through the set up and the app freezes at the same place each time. Your account - I get past the first 2 screens but the 3rd one (asking Where will the first payment into your account come from?) just doesnāt work. Anything I can do?
Have you deleted, re-started, and re-installed the app? Does it get past?
Not sure if Iām missing something - Iām a Plus account holder and I was going to open a savings pot as I saw on the Monzo site that Plus accounts get 4.6% interest vs 4.1% for regular accounts. Iāve gone through the flow to open it (without pulling the trigger) but everything points towards it being 4.1% rather than 4.6%.
Am I just not reading it right?
You need to open a Personal Instant Access Savings pot.

You donāt, unless you mean your Pot, then head into Pot and tap cog top right.
Just to further answer this, with Monzo you can only have one personal account at any time, itās not possible to open second ones such as with Chase etc.
As @Carlo1460 says you can create pots, and with monzo you could create a bills pot to do much the same function.
I tried to search, but couldnāt find a thread about this from newer than 2020- are merchants allowed to refuse Apple Pay and insist on a physical card, and if not, is there a way to file a complaint? I had an odd occurrence of a store in Japan refusing to process the transaction, covering their contactless reader, when I pulled up my card on Apple Pay and only relenting once I pulled my physical card out of my wallet and took it from me to tap to prevent me from pulling a fast one.
Not much you can do really, same boat as Tui not accepting monzo or revolut, the banks canāt do much about it and the payment networks probably too busy to care.
The merchant maybe had a lot of fraud recently, so deflects from wallet pay, or in some other form may get charged differently.
Other than using your physical card or just buy elsewhere, not much else you can do.

I am having a problem that is preventing me from using the service. I donāt know how to resolve it.
I ordered my card to the wrong address and it was returned.
Since then I havenāt been able to update my address in the app so that my card can arrive successfully. It is a bit frustrating that I cannot access my personal details in the app or use the in-app chat to contact support.
Has anyone experienced this problem or know what to do?
