I think it’s worth anyone who is interested in scheduling recurring payments to Joint Accounts also voting for this:
That’s what I thought but it’s called ‘joint account’ names match??
That’s not the name of the payee, that’s the type of account.
Interesting? So it’s called/named ‘joint account’ own by myself and my partner. When I click on account details I get the sort code and account number (all correct) but no payee name?
What do I use?
Maybe setting up a standing order is not so straight forward?
When transferring to my joint account I just put my own name (and not my partner’s) and it goes through without warning.
