Could there be an option in the “Do More with Monzo” section to “Save for something” which would in one flow ask;
- What are you saving for?
- What is the Goal amount?
- When do you want to start?
- When do you want to have the goal amount by?
- Ask if you want to pay daily, weekly or monthly
- Show you what the daily, weekly or monthly payment value would be
Then setup the pot and set the scheduled payments into it.
Can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to head into google to ask how many days between date x and date y, so I can average out payment amounts for a goal.
Once that’s setup it would be as any other pot - lock/set a background/hide or unhide etc…
Colour me lazy, but I think this could help people get saving quicker and highlight how little (goal dependant) it takes to make a big difference.
