I was just moving some standing orders over to my account and ‘Save money on your energy bills’ - appeared at the top of my transaction feed.
I instantly dismissed it.
It happened just at the wrong time, I’d put the Bulb thing out of my head and am willing to give Monzo a go as my main account. Then just as I’m going through with it - I get that!
Just felt the need to say again, how much I’m against this and it could lead to me (and I believe others) having second thoughts on Monzo. Maybe even pushing me back to a legacy bank.
I know it’s just testing or whatever, but I see this as a really bad sign of the way Monzo may go. I don’t mind how may ads or offers there are in app - as long as they’re segregated in their own section accessed from the menu. Not in my transaction feed.
This isn’t supposed to be some crappy adware file manager or whatever - this is my bank account!
