You must be looking at something else, my iPad had the older app build and didn’t have the new option. Updated and it appeared.

Well the Android app is a different app to the iOS app Carlo posted a screenshot of lol so that wouldn’t be as surprising.

my ‘apply’ page was looking much like Carlo’s last night, and has a few extra things today. Not sure I’d ventured in there before so don’t know it that’s usual.

I can’t see the option to freeze international payments anywhere though.

The freeze international payments thing is there in the update notes

I think this is for transfer payments. It already had an international option for card payment controls.

ah, you’re quite right - I updated the Android version and it’s there now.

So, unless you close it, it will always be the longest - and I wouldn’t close it just because you want another account to be your longest.

The Ulster app has had the redesign for how accounts appear.

I’ve removed all traces of account and balance information from the image.

Hopefully, RBS and NatWest get the changes soon.

I’ve also noted that ‘insights’ on the RBS app has now been updated with better categories and images.

I like it, was this an App Store update? Or just updated itself within the app?

It appeared after the recent update with the freezing international payments.

Looks like it’s being tested out on Ulster…maybe?

I actually don’t mind it. Especially useful if you have a few accounts.

Can you swipe from the side of the screen to go back yet?

I’m afraid not. :weary:

Had to say goodbye to my RBS / C&Co account. Never used it. Switched it to Barclays to get 25k Avios.

Will miss the card but oh well, I will survive.

While they are all in the same group. Officially they are a separate Bank and so they do need to do their own Checks.

You will have to do another ID Check with RBS.

Can Lloyds do that? When I first opened my Lloyds account I had to go into a branch and show my ID even though I already had an account with Halifax.

You have to do it even with a secondary account with RBS and they hard search for every one you open too, so definitely doesn’t carry anything over from NatWest.

It’s an entirely separate profile with a different customer number too.

Long-standing (30+ years) with Lloyds here, and still got hard searched for initial opening with Halifax. Bank of Scotland accounts added after Halifax were soft search only as they share info.

Simple: we have better programmers over here

Long time back, found ourselves in direct competition to a dev team in England with both needing to write a functionally identical program. They had a team of 30 working on it full time. I had a core full time team of five and five more part-time. Our team beat theirs

Anyone remember when RBS was the biggest bank in the world before they collapsed?
