I was contemplating whether to apply for C&C or Drummonds. But I’m now sold on the latter.

Got my c&co and applied for drummonds with the old form 2 days ago. How long do you think it will take to get that open ?
Child & Co took me about 4 days to get setup and 8 days to get a card.
Drummonds still have not received. I had to reapply after going into my local branch and talking to them. I was told to just reapply!
They couldn’t tell me anything. They just asked for the application reference. I got taken into one of the little rooms and then I was told to just reapply. I asked “had I been denied” and he said “no no”. You just need to reapply!

Have you checked your credit report and whether there’s a hard search?
Would be quite annoying if you have been, and then they ask you to re-apply again and then you get hard searched a second time.
No. I had no hard search for Drummonds!
When i applied to natwest, i had to reapply and my cr shows 2 hard search.
Drummonds did a hard search for me already.
Done!!!

Make’s me think if you can get any other cards with different Sort Codes? 
Do both? Unless you need everything self contained on a single statement… very normal to have multiple accounts tho for all sorts of reasons.
Between my wife and I we have 6 Halifax Rewards, 3 RBS Rewards, 3 Natwest Rewards, 3 Club Lloyds and a Santander 123 Lite; respectively earning £30, £9, £9, Disney+ and 2 magazine subs and ~£6/7 depending on the month. It’s the easiest ~£55+ we come by every month!

Takes under an hour monthly; including funding regular savers and whatnot. But yeah having both Chase and RBS is a pretty trivial combo.

I’ve made all my RBS accounts reward accounts, this includes the premier. Spread the DD’s (2 in each) and make sure I transfer sufficient funds each month.
You can convert the reward into pretty sizeable Avios, so it’s just as good as using the BA Amex.
Each £10 reward gets you 900 Avios.

I have three, one reward black and two reward accounts. All showing in my reward account as eligible and linked.
I just asked to convert the accounts and they said yeah.lol
I was on the phone to them and they raised no issue with it.
I’ve received the welcome emails and the accounts are showing as reward in the app.
Just complete the upgrade form either via digital banking or the app for each account you want to convert to reward. see if they allow it. It’s all I did. Then when they called me about premier they noticed I had them and weren’t bothered by it, did not say I was ineligible.
converting another account in your name with duplication of insurance products is likely to raise more alarm bells, and I’m sure they will have systems in place to prevent duplication of cover.
Rewards Black, the remaining other accounts are simply Rewards
