Just tap on your salary and then sort payment top left (I think).
Sorry I meant does it save that preference for next time a la Monzo?
I do like how the payment just goes in. No animation etc
Yes it will remember.
You basically activate the sort and set up where you want all the money to go each time that payment comes in.
It recognises name, and amount by 20% either way in case your pay changes a bit month to month.
So it sort of preloads what you did last time when you click to sort & then you either ok it or make changes? It’s not as soon as the pay drops?
It sorts as soon as it drops.
You can do it with any inbound payment.
Send yourself £20.
Sort it to split between a pocket and savings account and activate.
Then send yourself another £20 to watch the magic.
You can then go into a pocket or savings account and scroll to the salary sort and deactivate it.
It used to notify you when it did the sort but it didn’t this time.
Very interesting. I understood even with Monzo you had to verify the split each time.
The amount I send to joint or savings can change so not sure I will definitely use it. But cool all the same!
Thanks for replying
I guess you could sort the majority of you have personal bills/pockets, and then send the joint amount after.
Not sure how joint accounts work with revolut.
Joint comes up us an option for the sort.
In May two bills which are on their 2 month pause will return and a salary sacrifice will replace the current savings I’m making and alter the pay amount. So perhaps that’ll be a good time to start using it for a few months when everything’s ironed out.
Here is a thought.
Can you alter the salary sort mid month?
I’ve used revolut recently for bill splits and it works fine.
I wish they had an option to remove the sent payment emails, I understand it’s there for security but a minor inconvenience and I can’t be bothered to set a filter to read and bin at automatically.
That’s what I cba with, I think I’d need to use the website.
I don’t get emails like that so there’s an option to switch them off.
You will do, unless they’re in your spam/junk.
It’s literally two taps:
Tap email notification
Tap delete
I don’t send too many from Revolut it’s just a thing they could really do away with.
I’ve had hundreds of those emails over the years. Never particularly bothered me.
Saves my OCD ass screenshotting anything.
Ps I do actually have it
It’s only for sending to external banks as well. Not payments on the platform
I have a filter set up to auto delete them. I posted it in here before. It works for me. Never received payment emails.
