Revolut Chat

I think topcashback used to give 100% back or similar but many reported issues with tracking and actually receiving the money.

They, along with many VPN providers have fake sale countdowns on their website that reset when they reach zero.

I’ve never found it to be free. £2-£4 a month with a sale or code seems to be accurate from what I’ve seen.

It’s never free. The price is artificially inflated and then cut down to something realistic with discount codes or “sales” to make you feel like you’re getting a good deal.

I don’t agree with the marketing but the service is fine.

Like the DFS sale that never ends.

Imagine being this daft (I’m guessing they’re trolling).

Anyone else noticed they removed miles redemption from RevPoints?

Probably a glitch, mine disappeared too. Maybe they will bring back real cashback.

Only been 6 months I think, if that?

It’s not a fixed amount of time, just a general 12 months to mobilise.

Could be less, could be longer.

also from the article:

Attention is now shifting to when and where Revolut will decide to become a public company.

New York is expected to be the preferred choice of its board and leading investors, with Mr Storonsky suggesting that London would be an illogical listing venue for a company of Revolut’s profile.

A similar debate is likely to take place at other British-based tech success stories, including Monzo, the digital bank.

Not sure if mentioned but Revolut Metal now has UberOne:

I believe you’re excluded if you’ve ever been a uber one customer in the past

Only with Premium, as it says upgrade to Metal to gain access otherwise.

Not sure it was overly clear or maybe I’m being daft. but I’m guessing they actually call from the app not a notice within the app like Starling and Co.

Looks like it, bottom of the article says “Speaking to someone through our app means customers can be 100% sure they are talking to Revolut and not a fraudster.”
