QR codes for payments at a charity event

We are doing an open garden event this weekend. We are selling drinks and snacks for charity. Can I print QR codes for different amounts and then people scan them to pay into my Monzo account and then I can transfer the money to the charity? I was looking at the feature in the payments section and wondering if the QR codes are single use or can be used multiple times. If they are single use, printing them obviously won’t work. Just trying to find the simplest way to take card payments.

Just bear in mind that you’re likely to fly under the radar with the one event, but if it’s regular you’ll fall under business use.

Monzo offer business accounts but dont support Charities as a business type.

Not supported: Charity bank accounts for registered charities, voluntary groups, Community Interest Companies (CICs), or non-profit organisations.

Would people be aware that they are actually paying you, not the charity, and relying on your goodwill to transfer the money to the charity?

Personally, unless I knew you, it would make me uncomfortable. I’d rather pay the charity direct.
