The major downside of having my investor card stolen is that new ones aren’t being issued. Once it’s gone it’s gone.
I assume all alpha and beta users will lose their account status when the banking license is acquired and cards are moved over to debit cards.
People want to be recognised for the time they’ve put into helping the bank get off the ground. Whether it be an alpha api developer, a beta user or a cash investor.
My request is that personalised cards are offered and retention of account status is shown on the card in the future. Helping to foster a stronger connection to monzo and better for promotion in the long run.
Great idea, I’d personally love to keep my Alpha status as the bank opens up current accounts.
