For third-party credit cards (like my HSBC one for example) I’d like to be able to:

  • give the card (or any third-party account for that matter) a friendly name

  • for a transaction: apply categories, add notes and a receipt

  • select a transaction and have the option to pay it off with one click by transferring the required amount from my Monzo account

I think one problem which might stop this happening (unfortunately) is that there is only 90 days worth of transactions. I don’t know if this is a Monzo restriction, or an Open Banking one.

Yes that is a restriction. I wonder if the terms of open banking data use means you’re not allowed to persist a copy of the data received?

Even if it only went forward from today that would still be more use than what I currently get from the HSBC app

I feel like this is Monzo restriction rn as Emma can certainly show me transactions going back forever.
