Payments with Friends Setting

Don’t know when that was but when I click on a transaction where I’ve sent money to someone, I can see the account details along with the payment reference.

I can see the payee name, the account number and sort code, and the reference, but not the account name!

Maybe you have your payee’s account numbers off by heart. Otherwise, I can’t see how you can easily identify the specific account for that payee.

It’s even worse on the statement :pensive:

There needs to be something in the middle of Staring and Monzo.

Starling have it “more” right, but like you said, I don’t know the account details off by heart.

The better solution would be to have a “nickname” on the account, but still have the main contact as the visible payee when scrolling though.

But when delving into the transaction (or on the statement), it would say:

Nick - Monzo, or Nick - Nationwide.

Even though the payee was simply “Nick”.
