Coming from Android, I was expecting there to be an audible notification when a payment is made… this means I can check it and make sure I’m expecting it.
I hadn’t heard it on iOS and assumed it was because the phone is quiet, but yesterday I was in a shop with just me and it was quiet enough even to hear the vibration from the notification - but no sound.
Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere?
Yes there is a notification sound for the app, when you make a payment.
Have you checked Settings > Notifications to make sure that sounds are switched on?
Yes sounds are switched on.
Have you tried deleting and re-installing the app?
Or a device restart?
Yes… nothing happened. I’ll try a factory reset, and failing that talk to a ‘genius’ to see what they suggest.
I had this problem before…but then I realised my phone was on silent mode…
