How often do you withdraw cash in the EU?! Could be worth it for that.
Maybe 7 or 8 times a trip?
Just get MeDirect. No monthly fees. And a fairly easy application.
Not so useful if you actually need a French bank account though

This isn’t a bank account though, it’s an E-money platform. It’s owned by Sberbank (largest bank in Russia).
Works to pay, can load it with money, regulated platform and owned by a bank, probably enough for most people.

I don’t think I’d have any RU bank account or any RU product at the moment… and I’d be extremely careful with any association with Russia given the sanctions
