Our Year in Review AKA The Community Oscars 🏆

Hey Community

It’s that time of year again… Year in Monzo has hit everyone’s app and we’ll all be recovering from the roasting. I thought it’d be time to continue our community-specific Year in Review to recognise some of the top contributors from the last year! :trophy: :gift: :tada:

I must sound like a broken record but we’re so grateful for the time you spend here to engage with us, the feedback you send our way and the ideas you give us to create products which benefit people.

Some prizes are in order!

DISCLAIMER: No Plushies this year - they’re under constant armed guard. No rioting allowed.

Throughout the day, we’ll have some special guests posting the winners so keep your eyes open :eyes:

Are they the sort to send 10 messages to convey one paragraph, or just a big block of incomprehensible text?

£2,499 you can have mine.

Hey gang

Alan has tagged me in to announce the first winner :raised_hands:

The first category is for the forum member who has spent the most time starting new discussions. In other words, the person who is addicted to that “New Topic” button :upside_down_face:

The winner is :drum:……

@mastercardnevervisa.

Alan will be in touch to arrange your prize!

How odd. You’re not talking, though, you’re writing.

Bravo!

You should get an extra prize for none of them being topics that I came into, linked to a previous one and tagged Alan

What have I missed about full stops?

Nothing. Full stops are perfectly fine. They end a sentence.

Is this confined to one word message like yes or no, or are full stops out completely? How do you structure sentences?

God I feel old right now.

It’s more at the end of the sentences usually

You can be old and still be correct. Passive aggressive punctuation :smile::smile:
