Damn it :sob::money_with_wings:

I also withdrew the duplicated 15p in case their system somehow thinks I’m not up to date with my challenge. :joy:

Not a winner here

I didn’t win either :disappointed_relieved:

This is an absolute travesty! I’ll be writing to my MP and appearing in my local paper complete with a compo-face picture.

Just start another facebook group along the lines of “MONZO ROBBED ME OF £100 - HOW CAN I AFFORD SHOES FOR MY CHILDREN?”

Or you could join mine. I didn’t win either :disappointed:

I didn’t win euther.

It’s even worse, I had to get the nanny to go wake up Tarquin and Trixiebelle 2k and bring them to drawing room in the east wing. Where I was forced to inform them that as a result of this heinous injustice we shan’t be holidaying in the Maldives this summer and it’ll be own brand Fortum and Mason fois gras from now on!

(Is this off topic?)

I think that crowd is more likely to complain about Coutts debarking them than £100 from Monzo, but good character work otherwise

Are you making light of my predicament @ndrw !

Will the injustices of this malign day never end?!

Interest rate going down from 4.10% AER (variable) to 3.85% AER (variable). :eyes:

Guess the 4.10% savings pot is about to follow suit

Already has - emails are going out today.

Just technically in the middle of moving to Monzo from Nationwide after joining at the start of the month and this happens, sounds like a facepalm. :man_facepalming:

Everyone is going to do it. Not just Monzo.

Received the email about the 1p savings interest reduction. Those monthly £100 prizes just got a whole lot more desirable.

I know @Revels, they can’t help it due to the interest rates. But, it would happen now. However, i had made my choice for awhile to move banks to an online one.

I’m not too fussy about the interest rate, although obviously the higher the better. I’ve been doing the penny challenge manually for a couple of years and it’s a huge pain in the ass. The fact that Monzo have automated it natively is the BIG win for me.

But i’ll take that prize next month.

Paragon reduced their rate a couple of weeks ago though the reduction is effective from today. The rate goes down and it’s amended quickly. If it goes up you have to wait for some time :man_shrugging:t3:

That’s because they have to give you notice if they reduce it so they tell you as soon as possible. Increasing interest is in your favour so they may delay the increase but will give you the increase as soon as tell you about it (or even increase first, then tell you afterwards in some cases).
