I have wanted the Extra on my monzo account, but the only thing that puts me off is the fact that the 1p savings challenge cant come out of a pot. I put all my money in a “Spending money” pot, i would like to have the option for the 1p to come out of a certain pot.
Yeah super annoying surley such a simple fix to exclude it
It would be great if Monzo made an official 1p savings category that then isn’t excluded from Trends but still goes towards savings total.

Hello. For next year please could you offer the 1p saving challenge in reverse so you save £3.65 on day one, £3.64 on day two etc… December is such an expensive month that it would make more sense to do it this way and get the bulk of the saving done up front in Jan/ Feb/ March when generally people don’t go on holiday or have major things going on.

Can’t say I noticed (as I turned notifications for teh challenge off), but it’s showing in my feed. I checked my Google Sheets export and it says it triggered at 7:57 this morning. It’s usually around 3am.

Same here. It’s the only reason I got Perks, might downgrade to Extra after 2nd Feb. Still no monthly wins for me. 
I had to pause couple of months after I left my job in the summer. It became quite challenging when the daily deposit was creeping up to £2.50, but catching up when there are less than 2 months suddenly felt a lot easier.
How many ppl left in the challenge?
