Notification sounds all default

Hey gang,
I’ve been a happy Monzo user for personal and business for many years. I recently upgraded my phone from Samsung S9 to Google Pixel 8.

On my previous phone, specific notification sounds are played for money in and money out. In my P8, all notifications use the same default sound of the phone.

How can we get this fixed, please?

If you “transferred” everything from your Samsung to your Pixel, or restored from a backup, this might be why. Other apps may also be affected.

As far as i’m aware, there are only 2 things you can do to fix it on a Pixel.

  • Clear all cache and data of the affected app
  • Uninstall & reinstall the app

Either way, you would need to log back in.

Don’t forget to reboot the Pixel inbetween those 2 steps :point_up:
