Notification on help tab, frozen when clicked on

I asked a message to the chat in the app for help last night. When I woke up I have a notification on the help tab on the app. When I click on it the app freezes and does not open the tab. If I force close the app I can access everything else until I click the help tab.

Thoughts?

Is your app up to date? Have you restarted your phone?
