Never even notice/not personally bothered although I understand from your explanation it is clearly an issue!
The thing that I really love about the booster pack courses is them making the lap changes to classic tracks like Kalamari Desert and Peach’s Garden. Hope we see a few more tracks like this to come. I can also see them adding a few more characters at some point. Pauline seems to be one they are wanting to use more nowadays.
May have to pony up for Switch Online. Super Circuit is my second favourite Mario Kart (after the original). All the others play differently for my taste.
Nintendo also revealed that Link’s next adventure will carry a higher-than-normal price tag: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will cost $69.99 when it launches in May.
Fair enough. Too used to getting burned on conversions of late so assumed the UK price would go up too or that the discounts would disappear (which they’re starting to!).
Yoshi’s Island track in MK8 looks very good. Wished they showed a few other tracks as well, but it probably isnt coming for a while anyway. Happy to see they are indeed adding new characters as well.
Bit confused with the Splatoon DLC. It just seems to be a new hub world which seems a bit strange to be paid for.
Loved Professor Layton as a child and was so happy to see him on that trailer!
Tears of the Kingdom looks brilliant. Really cant wait to play this one.
Controversial take - up until I played Breath Of The Wild, Skyward Sword took my top spot of all Zelda games and that was even before the HD Remaster came out with the QOL improvements.
I think it’s a truly incredible game, a remarkable story from Nintendo, and the sky island mechanic works beautifully (which, I imagine is why they’ve returned to a similar theme in Tears Of The Kingdom).
The Koloktos boss fight is one of my favorite moments of any Zelda game, and also the fight with Demise in the circular gardens of the Temple of Time.
