Can you order a new card early if travelling at the time your card expires, to a country that has an unsafe postal system?
I guess it’s possible. If you ask Monzo, you’ll get a more definite answer. It will likely depend on when your current card expires.
You should be able to just click freeze and then replace and order a new card whenever you want.
You could and you can report it lost/broken etc. But that will/might come out as your free replacement.
That can eat into whatever allowance you have for replacing cards, best to message them and see if they’ll replace without that getting affected

Best to report it as damaged so you can continue using it until your new one comes.
You get 2 free replacements per year, which resets in January so I wouldn’t worry about it.
