Need help - someone reply

Hi i ordered a new replacement card and it said on the app it would arrive between 9-13th can anybody tell me if it will come earlier than this or not? I know its Christmas so royal mail is very busy. I am so worried my card wont come tomorrow

Why would you expect it to come earlier if that’s the date range you’ve been given?

You’re right to expect delays with Royal Mail due to the current pandemic and Christmas and this has likely been taken into consideration with the date you’ve been given.

You should only be concerned once it has passed the 13th, after which you will be given the option in app to re-order. It’s not a big deal anyway, it’s useless to anyone who may find it because it can’t be used until you activate it in app.

You can still use mobile pay before it comes and use it online

Monzo isn’t responsible for Royal Mail taking longer than usual. Most traditional banks take a week anyway, so 1-5 days in December is good service

Lost my HSBC card - received today (next day).
It depends from COVID cases in your local Royal Mail depot.

You don’t really NEED your card - I presume you have a phone for contactless payments, just be patient
