Isn’t that just the Premier card, not to do with the Reward Black?
I got that card on the free Premier account.

Oh that could be. I went straight to Premier Black and this card came in the mail. I assumed only the Black account would get the black card but I could definitely be wrong!
Reward Black is only a Premier account, it’s not available as a non Premier so it comes with the normal Premier Black card, as you say, the same card you get with all Premier accounts
So they do know how to produce a card that isn’t hideous - maybe it’s a humiliation ritual for most of us to have to tap the purple/yellowy vomit card.

I don’t get the hate for that design, and actually find yellow gives a nice pop to their purple. 
The shift to all-black design makes all the cards look like first direct.
It definitely was overnight.
Wonder if it’s the same for a replacement physical, immediate instead of overnight

Interesting that their Virtual is a Visa. I thought NatWest is all Mastercard?
Your virtual cards will use the same issuer as your main debit card.
If you have a Visa physical debit card you’ll get a Visa virtual card.

What’s the reason for adding a virtual and the actual card to Apple Pay?
Don’t they pay from the same account?
NatWest should really try and link these to pots - maybe they will in a few years.

I guess the virtual card is useful if you want to pay online without using your physical card. If something happened, it’s easy to cancel and you’re not left without a card.

Anyone with a visa debit card, can you please check if the ‘let us know you’re going abroad’ has been removed? (Current Account > Manage Card > Going Abroad)
I have it for my Mastercard credit card, but not for my VISA credit card. NatWest say no longer need to tell them for VISA travel rewards.
Interested if it’s the account type or the payment network that removes this.
It’s been mentioned the travel card is designed for travel so you don’t need to tell them as that’s what people generally took the card out for.
