To be fair they are new and at the very least posted it in the NatWest thread and didn’t create a new one.
Do NatWest allow multiple Premier Select accounts? I.e. if you have a Premier Reward account and a standard Select account will they allow you to upgrade the standard Select to a Premier Select?
Yes, I’ve done this recently.
Ive got a premier reward and a premier select.
You’ve got to be off your rocker to use WhatsApp for sensitive discussions on your work device.
I would say that counts for pretty much any communication platform that isn’t work sanctioned.
But many do!
I think this is a good move though In reality hard to really control because people will find ways. A better option is just to provide an actually decent employee comms platform then people want to use it.
There’s also the teensy problem that it only applies to work phones, so conversations could move to personal phones which would be way worse.
Does anyone know if NatWest hard search for credit limit increases?
If you call to request a limit increase, you can ask they first see what they can offer without a search. You can then accept that, and have no search, or ask them to try again with a search. Unsure if this search is soft or hard though as I accepted the first offer.
Would have to assume it’s a hard search as they wouldn’t need to ask first before doing a soft search as they have no impact on your credit report and companies carry them out all the time. They can soft search you whenever they like, but would need you to opt in to a hard search.
There is an option on the limit increase form to allow a credit search or not. I selected no.
You’re a child, it’s not relevant under KYC for you afaik.
It’s kinda sad seeing you put so much effort into non important things at your age.
You’ve not asked so you don’t know.
The bank is not going to care about £800 from a popular supermarket going into your account.
It’s the bank that reports this to CIFAS/NH, they don’t snoop accounts randomly.
You’re over paranoid about nothing.
Edit: the banks only report to CIFAS/NH under SAR (suspicious activity report) if there is actually something suspicious going on.
Working isn’t suspicious.
I can’t fathom why anyone would go through all this effort.
If they need to know they’ll ask.
I’m genuinely surprised by how often you mention CIFAS. You really don’t need to do anything to avoid issues other than use your account normally.
If a bank wants information, I promise you they will just ask for it.
You’ll be in your 30s before you know it.
Apart from jo does anyone bother to update the employment details with the bank whenever you switch jobs etc, I never have.
Nope as the banks (mostly only fintech for me) do a KYC every so often.
I don’t think NatWest have ever asked me to update my employment information.
