So this was a surprise to see this morning updating the app. They’re the one legacy bank (well, Building Society) I refuse to let go of as I like ethical businesses so it’s good to see some modern features appearing.

Yes, it’s good to see this.
Nationwide have very publicly thrown their hat in to the digital banking arena. So, although late to the party in some respects, I’m hoping for great stuff from them as I too use them for the reasons you mention
