Resubmitted on Saturday and not heard anything since.
Having said that I’ve just checked and I’ve been activated.
Didn’t they quote 2 business days though?
If you signed up on Friday, I’d expect an answer by Tuesday evening.

Yes, so I would expect a response by close of play today at the latest (I signed up Thursday evening). It’s just that a number of people have posted to say they got a response on Saturday (some on Sunday), hence the frustration.

That’s a bit disingenuous though… Starling and Monzo claim you can open an account in minutes and that’s true - you literally get your account details at the end of the process.

With Starling, I entered all my details, scanned my passport and 2 days later it was refused for some reason…not sure why
Looks like they opened registration for everyone
Still waiting after inputting my details Friday early evening.

Took me precisely five minutes last night around 10pm from clicking the link in the “access live” email, to taking a selfie (after uploading my driving licence) and was approved by 8:30am this morning.
It doesn’t bother me how many people get access before me, or if those people had previously shown an interest or just signed up on the public website – to me that just means the beta period was contracted (and why extend it if this isn’t necessary?) and I get a non–beta product moving forward.
App looks slick, but I disagree with the phrase ‘full bank account’ if N26 isn’t yet plugged into Pay.UK, Bacs, and Direct Debits. I too think the “open an account in eight minutes” claim is misleading, when Starling and Monzo will get you a working debit card into Google or Apple Pay almost immediately. The claim should really be “apply in eight minutes”.
Interested to see what USP N26 brings to the UK market, and interesting that they’ve managed to leapfrog both Atom and Tandem, who appeared early leaders, even ahead of Monzo and Starling, only a couple of years ago.

Quick question: Would the N26 Metal debit card work in ATMs without jamming the mechanism?
Yet some of us have been waiting days. 
I wonder how they’re sorting out the queue?
