Moving abroad for two years

Hello,

I’ve opened an account as I have a UK address, however I’ll be moving abroad for work for the next 2 years.

Can I safely transfer my salary to the UK account whilst being abroad? Will the account remain open?

I believe as long as you retain a UK address that should be fine (legally).

Also, once the account is open, how would Monzo know you’ve moved anyway? (may not be legal but allowable??).

I’m no expert though, maybe contact Monzo in-app chat?
