Move left over money to pot before salary is paid

I’ve had a look on IFTTT to see if this is possible but it isn’t right now. I had a look on the app to see if there was a way of doing it too but couldn’t see anything.

I want to be able to automate moving money I have left over in my account just before I get my monthly salary paid.

Is this something that can do be at the moment, or is it something Monzo would have to implement into the app and/or IFTTT?

Can’t be done at the moment as IFTTT can’t see your balance.

Thanks for confirming it can’t be done right now. I guess Monzo will have to implement it at some point (pretty please!). I’ll just do it manually for now. :grinning:

You can actually do this if your summary is correct?

With the caveats that its in Beta / on Android (as far as I’m aware!)

What do you mean by:

I’m in the beta testing program for the application & I have “Monzo New Navigation” enabled in the Monzo Labs settings.

When you get your end of month report it should say at the bottom move to pot - if your summary is correct what’s left from the budget should be able to be moved to a pot.

I can’t show you because when I got my statement issue fixed it somehow broke my other reports!

I’ll have to check this when I get my next report, I’ve checked my last report and it doesn’t give me the choice to move to pot in any of the options there.

Ok, turns out I’m in a Monzo experiment with a small subsection of users so fingers crossed if successful that this feature could be coming.

Hi there.

I was wondering if an auto feature of distribution of any funds at month end in main account can be placed into saving pots.

Maybe a breakdown option by percentage of funds goes x pot. Settings the limits of how much money is to be saved eg 5k backup fund until completed, then redistribution to other pots.

What do you think?
