I had some expenses paid last week and I was able to correct the name and suggest a logo in the app. It was all updated within the hour.
Yep, I donāt get the option to add logo with my salary payment. Iām also on TestFlight beta thing.
I would assume this would be similar to when they allowed us to start doing them for direct debits. It would only apply to those after a certain date and we wouldnāt be able to fix any past ones.
As @Jackcrwhitneyās payment is from the 17th May I would suspect we would be able to submit feedback for any payments that hit our account this month!
This is likely the reason. Applying logo fixes to FPS is more difficult Iād imagine as they can come from individuals not just businesses. Hopefully a solution will be found in the future. Most salary payments in the U.K. are via BACS
Well well well I woke up I looked and guess what⦠one of my salaries has gone all nice! Just missing the logo though so Iāve put that through again and for some reason 2017 payments havenāt changed but hey well done guys for changing it so quick

It would be great to know the technical reason why we canāt change names and logos for faster payments. Faster payments are starting to look messy in my transaction feed and committed spending.
I doubt itās a technical issue, more to do with the fact the majority of users get paid via BACS. Iām sure it will come with time and since my post I think I read somewhere in here about it being worked onā¦
Iām referring more to faster payments we make to friends or receive from friends, and faster payments/standing orders many of us make to private landlords. Maybe theyāre in the minority of transactions as well compared to paying rent to companies or using Monzo.me, but I would be surprised if people whose close friends donāt (yet ) use Monzo are in a minority.

So to clarify, to ACTUALLY get more beautiful direct debits do you submit improvements via the actual transaction or request them via chat with Monzo staff? Iāve provided twitter links and nothing has changed.
Yes, It can be a little while before they are approved if itās been a few days maybe ask in app support to check it out for you

They can change future ones too.
Ditto. I imagine there are lots of users who really value and expect that things look good. For me these arenāt minute issues, they are massive. Iād much rather have the app looking good rather than have dubious features like Summary.
Iāve had the same experience with DDās. Been told different things and they still look hideous.
Iāve 2 Lloydās bank direct debits which are hideous. What happened with yours in the end?
It was changed - the original merchant ID was āLloyds Bank Plc-Card Servicesā and @simonb kindly changed it to āLloyds Bank.ā
Plum financial bot have just integrated with Monzo (in test phase) and the direct debit has been added but thereās no logo and the name is a bit rubbish. How do I get this updated?
I tried to this via CS but they said I had to report it via the transaction, which hasnāt actually happened yet so I guess Iāll have to wait.
