I don’t think this is the reason. Still get either of 2 sites when loading in Private mode or cleared cache browsers across different mobile/desktop devices.

Maybe they are measuring which iteration works best for signups?

I think they’re probably using A/B testing to make sure the new one is effective before rolling it out to everyone.

It’s pretty typical for this to happen on most major websites. Websites might be running constant (sometimes upwards of 10) experiments on some pages to figure out which one is causing the most engagement and has a lower bounce rate.

In fact I just checked monzo.com’s source and I can see they include a script from https://www.optimizely.com (which facilitate A/B testing)
