Monzo stuck on loading screen

Issue:

Everytime I try and approve an online payment, it redirects me to the app but is stuck on the loading screen, with the grey timer of doom.

I have tried closing and opening the app, and turning my phone on and off.

Leaves you with no way to make transfers or approve payments.

Details to reproduce:

Assuming you have a good connection to the internet, random issues such as this can usually (but not always) be fixed by:

  • Uninstall the Monzo app
  • Restart your device (important)
  • Download & install the Monzo app
  • Login to the app & retry
