Swag and Loot Boxes belong in Fortnite not a bank
Merch
Really?

Totally unrelated to any of the above but can the traveler bundle have something other than airport lounge access and Jack’s Flight Club?
I’m not flying either, any perks for rail travel would be nice.
I don’t fly much but I would love an option to offset my carbon emission when I book a flight or any other CO2 emitting activity.
If you don’t want Merch then don’t buy the Supporter Bundle, simple. It’s obviously aimed at a different group of people. Banks are changing so you can’t possibly say “It doesn’t belong in a bank”.
An option to help offset would be good yes - asking people to not fly is a bit much, if I didn’t fly at all, I wouldst be able to see my family/friends who are scattered all round the world.
Yes, I mainly fly because of that. The solution would be a hefty carbon tax to push the development of renewable alternatives. Guess the oil companies have ties with our governments to hold that down.
Well aircraft manufactures are making more efficient planes in general, which will be good to see how that develops in the future - In terms of Plus, wouldn’t know how you incorporate helping the environment into it as part of a bundle (I’d still get the bundles anyway)
This is what they had in one of their first iteration of the travel bundle they had “We plant 1 tree a month” which is a nice start.
I quite like that idea…
Thats not a bad idea - either way, I love flying and have to, so will be nice to have something like that to help make things better in a way
There’s this

No idea if it’s any good but I know Elton John uses it
@johnbiondini / @welshguy99 There’s also https://offset.earth/ - with its monthly plans it could be something that lends itself well to be a Plus style add-on.
Amazing, thank you for sharing. I might sign up now. Agreed this would be amazing with Plus.
It would also give Monzo quite a bit of media coverage if they added it. @anon50039658 @Sheri
Erm Natwest and HSBC have often given away free branded goods - as have the other legacy banks.
One of the more famous examples would be:

But there have been other branded clothes and goods as well.
What they didn’t do was a) charge customers for them and b) call them swag or merch
True indeed. I had forgotten about them, the real irony being that I have the NatWest branded one in my man cave.
I’d argue that they did, they just done it indirectly.
I had a set of these! Should of kept them…
On the swag/merch front, I have no issues with Monzo trying to provide this, I just don’t want it to be absolutely cheap crap just made for the sake of making things.
The Monzo t shirts from the last time seem to be that. Make useful things and make them from quality stuff.
Like reusable water bottles - partner with Chillys to make a nice solid metal one in hot coral with Monzo etched into it.
Or get some high quality pins or patches made.
There’s lots of ways I think Monzo could do this well.
And at least the term “swag” has seemed to moved on!!
