I was hoping when they redesigned the card (I.e. the new design for Monzo Plus, or any other new design) that the printed expiry date would be aligned properly with the “EXP END” text.

But looking at images of Monzo Plus cards on twitter, it looks like they’re still being printed mis-aligned :sob:.

Obviously this doesn’t actually matter at all :joy: and I rarely even use my physical card, but every time I do the mis-aligned expiry date leaps off the card at me :joy:. These things should really not bother me haha!

Does anyone know if the white embossing rubs off less easily on the new cards?

Sorry if this is out of context now but I’ve just skipped 600 messages (not sorry).

One of the ‘benefits’ of monzo plus is access to events to meet the team to give feedback in person. I think this is flawed, anybody willing to throw money at monzo for this limited list of benefits for too much money are hardly likely to be giving useful feedback.

Good question. I know RBS have been testing 6 digit pins, albeit not in production.

This really is a design crime. I cringe every time I look at the card. Glad to find it annoys at least one other person :rofl:

I was hoping they just remove them altogether from the front since they don’t really need embossed letters anyway, but it appears we are stuck with them.

Yeah I am hoping for all details to be removed from the card, but in the meantime, I really would like it all aligned properly :smile:

I also saw a pic where someone with a long name has almost no spacing between the top of their name and the expiry date, that also got me squirming :joy: was practically on top of each other!

Metal if it’s hot coral as it will stand out better

I think it is more of meet and greet than purely a feedback thing.

I agree with your point though that the current offerings are not worth the money

I have never noticed this before but now I can’t unsee it once I looked at my card

This is a good point with regards to feedback on the current Monzo Plus offerings.

However, even if what you’ve suggested is true, this type of Monzo Plus user could still provide useful feedback on stuff like the signing up flow, understanding the terms and conditions, the Monzo Plus UI and UX etc…

Yes I wonder if anyone has been given access recently.

Home insurance a bug a problem for me and it stings me £16 a month so having it with monzo and a couple of other extras such as interest and metal hot coral card for example would do me proud if I can get it less than the £16 I pay
