They emailed out a few days ago (might have been mid last week) with a signup for reminder and today they sent the link again.

Yeah I got the link today not long before it started so had no chance to rearrange my day to watch it… oh well.
Just watched the video 
Summary
They go over all the features that we’re asking for but still aren’t committing to any dates. They think they’re all great ideas, they’re working on them, planning etc and they all should be coming 
(the usual).
The only things I got out of the video was:
- Interest on account balances is coming in the next few days
- New Plus features are coming in the next week or so.
- Slight design tweak and quality improvements to Plus cards are coming very soon.
- A new crowdfunding round will be a possibility in the next few years.
I’ve saved you all some time 
P.S. It’s not all a discussion around Monzo Plus but some core features we’ve been asking for as well such as committed spending pots and Monzo Points to name a few. But as mentioned, no news or dates were given that hasn’t already been mentioned on here.

Other points I noted:
*They messed up with lack of Plus Investor cards and they’ll be here in a few weeks
*Not quite clear if they’re offering both types of metal cards, but they did not rule it out (not interested either way personally!)
*Custom cards will eventually arrive
*As will shorter term deals, such as month of travel insurance, but probably not this year
*Three virtual cards attached to a pot looks likely
*Committed spending pots not a Plus offering as costs Monzo nothing to run and feels part of core experience
*Leary on guaranteed or enhance customer response times, especially as maybe a sticking plaster while work on response improvement happens in another squad

Maybe they’ll offer a range/choice like they did with the Plus cards.

If I sign up to plus now will i be guaranteed the £3 per month or will it still go up to £6 per month ?
It’ll be £3 per month for the first year, then it’ll go up to £6.

So is this it ? No Coral metal card ? 
I was hoping for this too but apparently they had a prototype made and it didn’t look good.

A metal card has a metal core by definition. I don’t think there is a coral coloured metal!

I thought the Monzo metal cards had plastic backs? Not sure what the make up would be of that, but it sounded like a normal plastic card with a metal faceplate.
I have a question regarding the new metal cards.
I am heavily considering becoming a Plus user, but I don’t want to join and miss out on getting the metal cards when they come available.
Will the metal cards be available to existing users when they roll out?
They haven’t announced how the signup process yet, most likely it’ll be available for existing users (will be a bit weird if they don’t allow current plus members to apply for it). If and when it goes lives most likely it’ll be like signing up for any new card
Yea they’re similar to the Platinum Amex Cards. Metal on the front (which feels nice for just being the front) and plastic back to accommodate for some other stuff without doing it full metal (I assume cost has a play in this)
If it were fully metal, and didn’t have a plastic back, then contactless wouldn’t work.
