It’s worrying that they posted that they are aware of the issue 25 days ago and poor quality cards are still being sent out . I got mine about 8 days ago and it still got the issue . I am not ordering a new one, cuz I think it’s a waste of plastic with no guarantee that the issues have been ironed out . So I’m sticking with it . #hotcoralalltheway 
Received my new plus card today - first thoughts slightly disappointed.
Looks like the blue was painted over the old coral colour as I can see it on the edges and also near the chip.
The PLUS is not really visible, what’s displayed online and in app shows a different plus look more like a silver plus.
I know it’s also mentioned but a investor plus card would be nice.
I have seen another thread for a metal card I would pay a one off charge to have a metal monzo investor plus card - Amex have a version and the feel is great.
So my wish for 2020 or an early Xmas gift from Monzo - metal card Santa pretty please
Both of these are design choices. Plus was always meant to look subtle and the hot coral core was key to card design.
I’m with you though on the metal. Looking forward to seeing what happens there.

Unfortunately monzo.me/tom, which would be ultimate prestige, was unavailable. Either it’s too short, or already allocated to a certain somebody (perks of running the show 
) so I am ‘stuck’ with my original monzo.me/tomreynolds, although to be quite honest I can’t think of anything else I would use as a second choice. Can see some people might decide to use a nickname or something.
Edit: just clicked it for the first time and it’s a ‘different’ Tom, they clearly beat me to the punch. If only I had managed to get Plus before #Day38 
I did, just after I signed up to Plus. Wasn’t approved but didn’t get a reason. I’ve just messaged them to check what the reason could have been though. 
I don’t imagine it’ll be too short, mine only has 3 characters in it

My choice was a long story. I accidentally cleared the feed item for selecting a custom link, so messaged CS to do it via chat.
Told them it was between another username which I didn’t really like, and my name if it was available so asked them to double check if it was possible.
Got a response saying they’d changed it to the other one, so I assumed there was a reason it wouldn’t work.
Wasn’t happy with the new one (picked it under pressure!) so ended up having it reverted to the old one. But still no reasoning behind not letting me have my name, sadly! I’ll let you all know if I find out why. 🤷

A feed item would have come up when you signed up to Plus, but if you cleared it (like I did) just send a message via the in-app chat and they’ll sort it for you.

Interesting. Mine doesn’t give an option to select it, just states the fact about custom monzo.me. Wonder if it’s because I’ve already changed it
