I do mention it quite a bit, I’ll admit. It’s not things I wanted, though. I’m more than happy to use Transferwise for international transfers - I just think that Monzo should fix their implementation. All the stuff missing from joint accounts doesn’t affect me - I haven’t got one, and I don’t want one. ![]()
I really was hoping for more developments and iteration with this.
We can all pretty much agree that £36 a year for the current offerings is not worth it but happy to support and invest in Monzo. The unwritten deal here is that this product should be developed at much greater speed than other functions, which aren’t costing a premium.

I got my Midnight Sky card yesterday and you can see the CVV number on the front. Otherwise the card is alright 
I think it’s an issue on most of the plus cards. I’m sure it can be replaced if you ask, but that’s kinda wasteful if no guarantee that it won’t have the same problem. So I am just sticking with it . I use Apple Pay most of the times anyway . 
I really hope so. It’s been a month since they published ‘the road ahead’ so we should see some movement soon

Using one of the light blue Plus cards, and it’s very hard to actually see the Plus label, and I can already see through the white text, blue cover, down to the Orange core.
The card feels very “flimsy” and not what you would expect on a “premium” offering. My standard Barclays card feels a lot sturdier and feels like it would last longer.
Agree, i like there being little in the base and choice to pick exactly what i want over and above. I believe this was the sentiment of the research they did. I don’t want to pay for stuff i don’t want. Even if it’s essentially nearly free/included still leaves me psychologically feeling out of control and unable to pick and mix

So, one of the things that you kind of have to figure out in the first few months is, how often can we realistically update you all without a lot of it feeling redundant? On one end of the scale, we’re still working on all the same things we mentioned before. On the other end of the scale, some things are closer to being a done deal than others, but until they actually are a done deal it’s irresponsible for us to say too much! It’s not easy!
But, I think we are getting to a point soon where we are figuring out what the pace will realistically be. I think in general, we should be able to share some meaningful info every month or so on progress, but as of right now we’re still figuring out what that all looks like. I know the whole Monzo Plus team are really excited to see what we can deliver across the summer, so you can certainly expect some big updates across the nice weather season ![]()
Right now things are very exciting for Plus, because it opens up the possibility of a lot of awesome things that we can do, so there’s a lot of brainstorming going around at the moment! ![]()

I sent this in the Metal card thread but thought I’d ask here as well:
“So my girlfriend just told me she got a message in her Monzo Chat (a week and a half ago and she didn’t think to tell me lol
) asking her to take a survey about the metal card, there was a video in it showing the card. Anyone else got it ? “
That’s right! So actually we sent out two different surveys.
One of the survey types did indeed have contain video clips.
Another contained digital image mockups of the metal cards.
The team have been analysing the findings of the surveys as part of figuring out the plan for metal cards 
Why is this? Is it because it gives you more money to spend with partners?
Yep, broadly speaking it gives us a higher vantage point to start from in partnership discussions. It puts ideas on the table that might otherwise be economically unviable.
