Since we’re back at “what would we want to see”
stage (unless @rossmonzo says otherwise) here’s where I’m at.
I love monzo but the current paid offerings keep me elsewhere. Plus is actually decent vfm and I wouldn’t be too fussed paying for that in its current proposition.
But it’s premium that does it for me. I’m lucky enough to get HSBC premier which gives me a decent enough savings rate and complimentary travel insurance which out performs Monzo.
So for me it would be a revised premium offering.
Either based on cost such as free if you put your salary in or better travel insurance that actually covers a family.
It’s not value for money at all even if I take it as 120 a year adjusting for the plus cost.
So that basically. Plus ability to access on more than one device and ideally a much better customer service.
I’d love to see certain subscriptions added into a Plus/Premium (or newer titled) offerings like Spotify Premium, Disney+ etc. as well insurances like car breakdown cover and so on.
If Revolut’s offering at the £45+ per month had things like the above (seeing Tinder Gold and FT subscriptions are wayyyy off from my interests ) I would happily pay that seeing as I’m pretty much paying that in subscriptions already
I really want them to get rid of the metal card in the premium sub and put that money towards something else. I don’t see the point of the metal card when the main people using monzo are tech savvy and use google and apple pay all the time.
You know… as much as I love refreshing all the time with this utterly bizarre wee addiction I have developed on this forum… it would be nice if Monzo could give us a wee indication of something like ‘come back in a month’!
Could be better, and accidentally wipe your work laptop Wednesday afternoon, and still not be up and running and likely won’t be today, then there’s system downloads and access to request again.
I probably won’t be doing any work til Monday even then, I’m off, so Tuesday.
