How did you handle the oauth on a desktop app? Without doing something like a local express server etc?
Considered it, just wasn’t something I wanted to look into at the time! Purely personal preference, nothing technically based
Essentially the exact same way the official mobile apps work. When a user completes the authorisation via email, it opens my website which has a very small script to redirect users to my app (or shows them an error page if it can’t open that scheme).
