How long have you been waiting? Have you checked with HSBC where it is up to?
About 30mins now. My brother did the transfer from his app
Transfers generally happen instantly, but can sometimes take up to 2 hours.

Last time I transferred £1000 from HSBC… transferred at 5pm… received next day around 10am
HSBC do additional fraud checks too at times with first payments into external accounts. You will be fine.
