Fair comment - I’m on a 3 months for £1.50/mo introductory offer, so mine will go up to £6-7/mo when that ends
You’re right tho, I don’t think they do any other kind of mid contract price rises

It wasn’t on.
O2 were dreadful for me. Their 4G was often faster. And, where I am, their 5G is way slower than EE 4G!
I ported my number to O2 from Three on Friday.
I can confirm that I am happier now. I have working 5G in more places, better signal reception. Even in places where Three had no signal at all in doors, I get 4G that works.
My music streaming while driving on the same routes is not interrupted anymore.
Voice calls are clearer (reason for leaving) with no voices breaking or ghosting.
O2 has always been great for calls imo, not the fastest data but usually works most places.
I’ve managed to get an unlimited sim with EE uncapped for £18. Quite a decent offer to be fair!
Typically 5-6 GB per month, per each family member phone. Spotify/YouTube/Sky streaming takes a toll.
eep, I average about 35gb a month with virtually no video streaming! How do you manage 5-6!?
I’m about 40gb a month - quite a bit of video streaming and use it in the car for carplay and spotify.
I wasn’t looking for Unlimited but for £18 and including global roaming it was too good a deal to pass.
I am constantly above 100GB.
I stream the highest available quality of anything, Apple music, Apple TV, Disney+.
I use about 2GB on music each day I leave the house.
Did you get one of the Volt deals ? (If you have your broadband with Virgin)
That is a very good price for EE with no speed caps. Did you have to do the PAC/retention dance to get it?
Yes, I did. £12 for 250GB (unlimited). No April 2026 rise.
Snap. I think it’s a great deal.
I’m currently on £10/month 100GB data with Vodafone (Voxi) which doesn’t have price rises. Can’t seem to have personally found a better deal than that with mainstream networks. Used to be on EE but their network has really degraded in London
I’ve probably missed it (searched “monzo mobile service” but couldn’t find anything) - are there any updates on monzo doing a mobile offering?
Nothing yet. You’d see a launch topic here if it existed.
how has it degraded?
What makes you say this
I’ve been getting constant call failed in my area (they confirmed masts where I live and where I work in two separate offices all degraded). Constant poor signal and where it may say 4g/5g but website won’t even load
