Less data, poor IMS as they use their own, not sure about RCS.

Might be me being stupid, but how does Sky have less data? As far as I can tell, they are cheaper.

Cheaper doesn’t equal greater quality or quantity.

Sky data packages are much lower, they have poor comparisons as they are upheld by their brand, nothing more.

I still don’t know what you are on about personally. You get way more data with Sky than you do with O2. Yes, none of the bonuses, but you can things such as data rollover and I’m fairly sure international roaming outside of the EU will be cheaper. Again, it might just be me misunderstanding you but I don’t really understand your point at the moment.

That’s true. I’ve had super bad experiences over the years with them which would put me off.

You’re choosing plans specifically to outweigh them.

Far more competitive and no reduced x months like the Sky deals you’ve taken.

I’ve clearly chosen deals that are actually on their website. Even the non-reduced Sky prices were better than the standard O2 deals, with the offers then being a signifiant improvement compared with what O2 offers on their website.

You’ve been proven wrong but still choose to debate it? :joy:

Seriously?

The point I was making was that I was simply comparing what is on O2’s own website, rather than what I believe is USwitch. I was clarifying that. So based on the offers on their own websites, I am not wrong.

And again, it depends what people value. Some may care about having their data rollover from month to month rather than it disappearing at the end of each month. So if they like that, then Sky would be the better option.

If Carlo made it clear beforehand he was using USwitch and not O2’s website, it would have saved us some time :joy:

Nah he was comparing what you can pay for both services. You can buy from these guys from a myriad of websites.

All he needed was a simple “from USwitch”, especially when I had clearly taken the prices from O2’s website.

Anyway, personally, data rollover would be more useful to me than what O2 is offering on USwitch. Wish more networks did that. Especially when it knocked a nice bit of money off my device plan as well (although I am tired so may not be thinking well at the moment about the differences between these plans :joy: ask me again in the morning!)

Yep absolutely. It’s weird when people make their own rules retrospectively to use as a stick to beat people with. If you had both made up rules at the start about what sites you’d both be using to measure who’s cheaper then that’s one thing but alas.

P.S. The vast majority of consumers would go to the providers own websites and compare that way anyway so I don’t even see what the argument was with that anyway to be honest.

It’s not rules, it’s common sense to shop around.

I did not.

Because anyone with a cell would actually look for a deal online…

True, but it’s still better than any produced and it’s a common offer floating around, again, trumping the Sky offers given.

Your last few comments in this topic were wholly pointless, added zero value, and typically gave a word in cuz you wanted something to say, which was clearly about nothing but :poop:

It was not; because I looked for O2 sim only deals that were better value than any that Sky could offer, which was my very valid counter argument.

You are wrong, leave it there; move on with your day instead of trolling.

No one has been trolling here. Maybe instead of accusing people of that, you take on board what people have said and be clearer with where you get your deals from next time?

I expected nothing less then an emotional response from yourself, however I have absolutely nothing to be emotional about as I have no dog in this fight.

As for trolling nope just said my thoughts on the matter just like you did to the original poster.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thank you mate. It’s common sense.

Yawn.

There was nothing to take on board, you gave your side, I gave mine.

Patrice jumped in for no purposes, added zero value, had no context between the two posts of sim only deals between us, and is now trolling putting in their own rules on what the rules should’ve been, when it was fair game.

Not emotional, you’re trolling full stop. :joy:
