They seem to do a better job at location than Starling. 90% of my Starling transactions apparently are in Cadiz, Spain! At least Monzo get the right side of the Atlantic (currenty in South America!). Even the MacDonalds!
A few I’d suggested have been updated recently but took a few months
Somebody must have had some down time at Monzo
So I submitted these two the other day, one was the FC Barcelona store in Arrivals and the other a supermarket.
The Barca one I put Official Barca as per the sign etc and the exact location but now it says somewhere and it’s totally different to what I submitted
The supermarket again the exact address yet now it says somewhere!
How the hell can it be somewhere when I have put the bloody address!!
What is going on with Monzo I mean seriously what is this nonsense, do it properly or just don’t bother doing it at all tbh.

Is Office 365 a company and or merchant? No
Is Microsoft a company and or Merchant? Yes
So why do Monzo have Office 365 transactions come through as just that and not Microsoft??
It’s messing with my stuff!!!
Everything should be Microsoft and locked full stop. One month it’s random characters that I always have to request a change, some months it’s Microsoft and now Office 365.
I know kids with better organisation skills than Monzo, sort it out!!!

Same with Microsoft and Xbox / Xbox Live (for some transactions, but not others, infuriatingly). Also Amazon / Amazon Prime / Amazon Music / Amazon Marketplace. It’s just Amazon y’all.

What gets me is that Monzo staff must be using this app also so how they can put up with this nonsense internally amazes me.
If I find a description that I don’t like I change it and lock it simple as that.

Still find it odd that the name isn’t under Wetherspoons though
Oh no I agree, I was adding some context.
Although I’m sure I read somewhere that online Wetherspoons should show ‘Wetherspoons’ and local transactions should be the actual individual pub names? Someone has changed the online one. Shambles as usual

I think the name should be the pub not the spoons
(unless using the app as I imagine that has to be spoons)

I think it varies to be fair it just looks odd that’s all just having it called Prince of Wales for example throws you off a bit but we will see what happens.
