A lot being said right now in every possible way both good and bad about AI being jammed into anything and everything, but this to me feels like one case where it would be genuinely absolutely ideal and no sign of it 
Wonder if Monzo will ever pick this up again. Quite a few local places have weird names. My gym even got called “DFS” in a recent transaction - as much as I wish my gym was just a sofa place, it is not.
Was it previously a DFS site?
No. It’s been a gym for nearly 30 years, and was a train station before that.
What’s the point in being able to select the correct Merchant name from the drop down list (big shop names) and then they still don’t get corrected?

I’d love an update from Monzo on this. So many are now untidy it’s horrid. My tags on this are getting longer and longer.
Maybe merchant updates will only be available as part of the new Monzo One plan 
OMG, I’ve had one updated! The really long ugly Now TV / HBO merchant name/number is now just Now TV with logo.

I’ve had two others (of many), a new M&S store and a Nisa Local, both names tidied and logos. That’s it though.
Nothing updated from the ones I submitted previously. Maybe I’ll submit a new request and see if that changes.
Wow, I can’t believe it, this thread is now eight years old. Whilst I do not know the exact date it was started in August I will just say today.

If you mouseover the “Aug 2018” date from the very first post it shows the full date and time, in this case it was posted on 8th August

I tag all incorrect or missing logos and using the new search feature my total spend = £7,822. What’s yours if you do it?
