I’ve had a search but couldn’t find anything, the master card UK website lists various benefits such as:
Extended warranty
Doubles the original manufacturer’s or store brand warranty for up to one year when you pay with your eligible Mastercard.
Price protection
Should you find a lower price for a new item within 60 days from the date of purchase using your eligible Mastercard, you may be reimbursed for the price difference.
Purchase Protection
Provides coverage for most items you purchase with your eligible Mastercard if the item is damaged or stolen within 90 days of the date of purchase.
It also states:
To learn about the benefits available with your credit or debit Mastercard, call Mastercard (0800-96-4767) or contact your issuing financial institution.
Most of those benefits, I thought, only applied to credit cards and even then only, generally, to credit cards issued in the United States. If a British MasterCard has the extended warranty benefit (even Amex UK doesn’t have this - though they do in the US), I’m definitely going to have to reconsider my current policy of using my Amex for all large purchases.
? I’m confused by this statement and how it relates to the benefits of the Monzo card, and MasterCards in general. Just curious if you could explain what you mean by this? Thanks!
My understanding is this part only applies to Credit Cards.
There not much difference between MasterCard and Visa and they are both equally well recognised and accepted around the world
There aren’t specific benefits for having Monzo MasterCard imo.
